Every researcher knows the feeling: a promising idea, real ambition, and a bewildering maze of European funding calls in between. The DTH’s flagship tool, Funding Match AI, is built to clear that first hurdle.
The principle is simple. You describe your research or innovation concept, its theme, keywords, maturity (TRL), the shape of your consortium and your programme preferences, and the assistant analyses it against the landscape of European opportunities, returning a ranked shortlist of relevant calls across programmes such as Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, Erasmus+ and the Connecting Europe Facility.
It will not write your proposal or guarantee success. What it does is collapse hours of manual scanning into a focused starting point, so you spend your energy on the science and the partnership rather than the search. For smaller teams in widening regions, often without a large grants office, that head start can be decisive. Pair it with the Resources Hub databases of laboratories, equipment, researchers and literature, and the path from “what if” to “who’s in” gets noticeably shorter.
